Happy Halloween

Happy birthday, rich m!

What's available? I assume to change a photograph to an uploadable form you need a scanner, will anyone do or does quality suffer?

The one in my sig works for me... ;) :D

And yeah - you either need a scanner, or else get yer photos processed by an outfit that will provide digitized photos on a floppy disk...

i vote for webshots too... i have used picturetrail and it was good, but it only allowed for 600x480 pictures. that is too small. almost all the pictures i take are 1024x728 - xga or bigger [my digicam goes to 1600x1200 - sxga]

the webshots "myphoto assistant" is a nice program. you pick the pictures you want to up load into an album [max 36 per album] and it does the work for you.

http://www.webshots.com

it's free!

the webshots desktop is pretty cool too, but that costs money if you want the high res images [1600x1200] the 800x600 is free

If your internet connection comes with free webspace you can host them there... you don't even need to make a webpage. Most likely you would use an ftp program to transfer the files to your "web folder" and then you can link to them.
