k1 kerosene for diesel use

Flat out, what generation has the possibility to make the most hp and tq and still hold together. Looking at just #2 only and everything goes. Is the 12-valve still the mod monster or are the new 3 gen's able to produce it too and hold together with the hpcr. What are your opinions?

I'd say it's still the 12V. But that's only because of the P-pump. The rest of the engine is lesser than a newer 24V.

IMO, the ticket is a HPCR block and heads with P-pump fueling.

Hohn, is this a pipe dream, so to speak, or is this really a possibility????

i don't think the heads would work, but the block should work fine and i believe the geartrain housing can be changed out for one that will work with the p-pumps

Didn't Edge/DD do that already? Don't say it can't be done.

There are more and more 24v engines running p-pumps these days. ;)

It is very unlikely that there will ever be a fuel delivery system to compete with the p7100. It was way too much---and a perfect match for a high-performance 5. 9. But the engineers didn't put it together for that purpose.

Bean counters and the EPA will keep us seeing more and more electro-puter controlled, hyper complicated, anti-smoke fueling devices.

More could be done with a computer controlled fuel system, but don't hold your breath waiting for it to happen. In the mean time the P7100 fuel system rules for power.
