Got the ATS elbow about a month ago, very little if any performance gain, But it looks good, and I Wanted it! I DID notice a gain in performance and and a substantial decrease in EGT's after replacing the stock EXHAUST MANIFOLD with the ATS 2 piece manifold.
 
The AFE has a significant gain in airflow over bothe the ATS and The Banks piece. The Banks intake is known for cracking,they claim it is from overtorqueing,bit it happens after it has been installed for some time :rolleyes:AFE is the only company to show dyno testing results That tells me a lot.

I finally got to see an AFE in person. Was not impressed with the casting, it looked very substandard, then as I read thru the paperwork it says it is made in CHINA that explained it. I think they were trying to get more flow with the fins but I would be interested seeing what kind of extra flow they really gives. I think they gave it a nice try and one more for the market to look at. Great marketing to dyno it .

:-{} take a picture of what you claim to be a sub standard casting. I have never seen that :-laf I also have posted the flow #s in numerous post of the ATS,Banks,AFE and in at least one post of the CFM.

What I have also seen as soon as you saw the popularity of the multiple ports the AFE had supplied CFM jumped on the band wagon and added more :-laf:-laf:-laf

Just put the CFM + on mine and I think it drop my EGT's about 100 degrees.
Before with my Hot Juice on max my EGT's went over 1350 pretty quick on WOT. Now It takes a lot longer to get up there and when it does it only backs down a little bit, EGT's drop quickly and it's back to 100% power.
I'm very pleased with the results. Anybody looking for max power and efficiency should upgrade their air horn.
 
I have the CFM+ on my truck, the no bling version though, no ports, no carbon fiber look:eek: It definately reduced my EGTs and made spool up noticably quicker. It definately flows much better than stock. I added the S&B intake a few days later and all that seemed to do was increase turbo noise, no further EGT reductions. Of course the clear top on the S&B makes up for any bling lost on the intake horn;) I've been suggesting guys do the air horn before the cold air intake systems. Seems like much more bang for the buck... ie; the intake horn actually works.
