I have a new 2006 megacab and want to run 35's on eagle 114's - 18x9. 5. I was wondering if anyone out there has lifted their mega yet and what lift they have gone with - i don't want to go huge because i still want to tow with the truck. Any help and pictures would be great. $$$ is not a major factor, I just want a good lift that will not cause me any problems.

I have looked at the Kore - but only 2. 5" - i have not seen any mega's with this yet so I just don't know. The 4 to 5" looks really nice to me but just don't know what company to go with - fabtech, superlift, skyjacker, etc.

thanks in advance to you all - and please send or put up some pictures if you can!

I don't own a mega cab, but this truck at the dealer inspired my decision for my 2005 quad cab 2500 CTD. I can't wait till this summer to get the work started, i've already got the shocks sitting in the garage. I just need to settle a decision on a nice wheel-tire combo to seal the deal.

enjoy Oo.

BTW the dealer was asking $72K for this truck, I think I could build my own for a lot less IMO

I kinda thought it looked *****in... . different strokes I guess. Now as to who set the price @ 72k ... that en, you can kick.

Thanks for the pics Ryan. :)

Barner, Dont be afraid of KORE on a Mega. Though not a Mega, I like mine,(pics in RR) and those boys 'll make your truck handle. With the right wheels, you'll tuck 35's fine with KORE. But... If you're lookin for more lift, dont really care about price, and like a nice ride, check out Kelderman.

Watch those Eagle 114's. I like mine ok, but the chrome already has some imperfections in it and I've only had em for 9 months. (3 of the nine they've been in my basement for the winter!!) Should buff out fine, but I was a little disappointed for my hard earned green.

mega pic

My 06 with Kore Chase and 33 procomp extreme at's. I now have the power wagon flares which i installed with 1/4 in. 3m tape so they would not vibrate the paint off. Great ride and handling, even at 100mph +

Oh, my, that's purdy.

I like that a LOT!

That said, I think I'd buy a stock truck from DSM, then call KORE and get their ultimate suspension. On the way home, stop by ATS and have them do the full transmission, pop in my TST and call it a day.

You'd still have at least $15k left in your pocket.

I'm sure they do..... :-laf :-laf The only thing that truck is missing is a chain steering wheel, and instead of the chrome wheels, it needs wire spoke wheels.

As others have stated the Kore provides about 2. 5 inches of lift in the front and about 3/4 in the rear. No rubbing at all, even when 4 wheelin. The nose is still slightly down as opposed to level. So far no sagging with my 4 horse bumper pull. Only had 2 mules in it though. I did leave the upper overload leaf on. That is supposed to keep the 3500 ratings. You will need longer u bolts to do this.
