Best mileage chip

MRfixit actully no, I did nothing else. On my 2nd gen I tried every chip out there except a bully dog, some friends of mine noticed 7-13mpg increase on there power-choker so I thought I would give it a try. And yes it was a 10mpg difference empty and an even bigger difference while pulling, I would get 6-8 mpg pulling my 34' fifthwheel and now I get 18-20mpg I was very impressed, no intake, just a little too noisy exhaust. It sure makes it a little easier to breath at the pump.

Well he bought the truck, it will be here in 7-10 days, Im thinking maybe mp-8, I want to stay away from the programmers due to warrenty.

I agree, a guy I work with has a numar 37 foot 5ver (18-20,000) and is claiming 15. 8. I don't even bother arguing with him, I am pulling a 41 ft KZ toyhauler and weigh in about 20,000 and have gotten a best of 9. 8 with a huge tail wind on realatively flat ground. This week running from Texas to Colorado I got as bad as 6. 1 #@$%! Hopefully new 90 hp DDP injectors, a set of custom towing twins, and a 5" exhaust will bring that up some. Anyone with just a programmer/chip, air box, and exhaust that can get 15 plus mpg while towing a big 5ver I will trade you trucks and give you money, but the mileage has to be hand calculated

Why would you want to add more pressure when the stock 6. 7 will run up to 27kpsi.



The over pressure events are stored on the 6. 7 as well as how many times and for what duration.
