My Results with FASS

Shame on you all....

I have the PDR with the stock 12 cm2 and Mach 2. 4's.

I can hit 38 psi quick if I want to.

My question is now I have this boost does it help me or how does it help me. My egt's stay safe. Thanks

Good question

Good question! My Blue Chip FMS records max EGT, Boost and RPM. My max has been 37. 1 psi, BC FMS Premium, stock injectors, BHAF, straight-piped stock exhaust. I plugged the wastegate. Overreving may be an issue, but I hit that only one with the box full on, usually stays around 30 psi.

I have a lot of stop and start driving. I keep getting the turbo

bark. I know this can't be good for the turbo.

So what would I be losing if I set the waste gate to bleed off around 25 - 30lb. ?

less air, you need to get a larger turbo

PDR 35 w/ larger housing or dodgezilla will fit the bill for 2. 4's (110HP) injector

I'm by no means an expert, but my personal experience seems to agree with Diesel Freak- the 12 is just too restrictive for hopped up (even my mildly tuned pickup) engines. I had an 18, and dropped 2mpg when I went to a 12. I'm looking for another 18, as I traded the 18 for the 12, but I have tried everything else- timing, fuelling, injectors- the housing has to be my only culprit left. I'm not sure why this is, but a few others have noticed this as well- go to a bigger housing, and gain MPGs. I have no problems with EGTs either, but it seems to strain at more than 55 mph; I used to go 70 in CO, even with a blown HG!!, and get 20+. I didnt get any real reduction in cruise EGTs- still 550-650 @ 60mph. But I'm doing well to get 18 here.
