Best Oil Filter?

With winter coming on i am changing to synthetic motor oil. Cant afford dual bypass yet ,so i want a top quality filter that i can change a couple of times before i have to change the oil. I was thinking of running a fleetguard stratopore or microglass. Does anyone know which one is better?

I've always heard the Stratapore is best for extended drain intervals & is better for synthetics. If you have a Case-IH tractor dealer close, use their "MicroLoc Ultra" #J934430. It's a Fleetguard Stratapore, for the 12v engine. I always get them there for about $9. 50 Fleetguard makes them, & it's just down the street for me, vrs. a 40 mile drive to the Cummins shop,or ordering. They use a version of our engine in their 4WD tractors & this is the best filter they have for them.
