Best place to buy Mickey Thompson/Alcoa wheels?

I've decided to get a set of 16x8 Mickey Thompson Challenger wheels. Any suggestions on where to buy them? Who has the best deal on them? Thanks!

If you are going to spend for the 16" rims why not spend a little more and get the 19. 5's?



Getting a G/H rated tire on a 19. 5" rim that will last a lot longer might help you in the long run.

Just did this purchase. Desert Rat Offroad for $168/rim not including center cap. Discount Tire initial bid of $205, but of course they would have matched DRO if I asked. National Tire is good too, but adding the $75 for shipping to NM made it a wash buying local and paying tax.



If they have to order lugnuts make sure they check your size on your truck. My 98. 5 showed a 14. 5mm X 1. 5mm or something like that on the computer and they were the wrong size. Ended up with 9/16" and had to purchase from Discount tire and then get reimbursed.



Very nice looking rims for the money. Had been set on the Weld F1 Renegade, but when I went to order them, the polished version was already discontinued. They are only offered in chrome now for $80 more per rim. That put them in the $330 per rim range... ouch.

Check @ www.wheelsforless.com . He even throws in the lugs and center caps for free. I wish I would have known about him before I bought my wheels.

I got mine from Desert Rat and had no problems with the shipping or the lugs. The "Challengers" are expensive ($165/ea) but they sure look good and will handle the GVWR of the 2500. They were drop shipped in abour 4 days from time of the order. Good luck.
