Where's the best place to tap the inlet air pressure for a gauge on a 1996 12v engine?

on my 94 there is a fitting right behind the injector pump, on cap it and use it.

Thanks for your reply. Saw that - plug on inlet header behind/under injector pump? Stuck a gauge in there... nothing - no pressure. Could be clogged? Wonder if that's where gauge kits recommend connection?

Jack, did you check it under load or just idling? There won't be much, if any, boost at idle.

Again, thanks for the advice. Looks like I probably did have the gauge in the right hole, just need to follow through. Will try again. I really do appreciate the guidance. Makes a big difference for someone like me who's just getting into this.
