Best place to purchase a extended warranty???

I am ready to purchase a extended warranty for my 04 ram. any one have any recommendations on a dealer that has reasonable prices? Thanks

I bought my factory warranty from eservicecontracts.com and they were great to work with and had a good price which you can look up on their web site.

Without a doubt. Intercontinental Warranty Service... Great Price and they have paid for about 6 expensive repairs to our POS 01vw Passat... I can't recommend them high enough!

I bought all of my extended warranties from DC (Gene's Chrysler). Last I heard you could actually finance it for one year with no interest, but it's been awhile. Never had any problems with service or getting a rental for an overnight stay.

Always buy a FACTORY SERVICE CONTRACT. Its NOT a WARRANTY. Its a breakdown INSURANCE POLICY. The AFTERMARKET stuff has NO VESTED INTEREST in YOU or the PRODUCT. Pain in the butt to deal with for customer and handling shop. Factory policys NO questions asked at any DEALER nationwide.

I had a Warranty Gold policy on a Saturn that we had. The underwriter went TU and I was w/o the warranty. The policy is only as good as the company that writes it.

Lots of those bite the bullet every year. Imagine getting good/easy coverage with a company trying to go belly up at the same time. I deldt with stuff for years. Pain in the butt for the shop and everyone involved. Factory policys are a piece of cake to handle and only wprrys is if G. M. or D. C. etc. went belly up which no matter how bad it gets is not very likely. Dealers can and will sell Factory policys and AFTERMARKET poilicys. DO NOT get the TWO confused.

I agree, Buy a factory warranty. You get Dealer service, OEM parts, and nationwide coverage with no hassles. i have seen aftermarket warranty send junkyard engines, axles, transmissions, only pay part of repairs, draw out a three day job into three weeks waiting on junkyard parts or waiting on some inspector to show up that knows nothing about a vehicle while the warranty company refuses to pay the rental car you need while they make their mind up. Big time BS. I run a Dodge service dept and i have seen this many times. There is some markup on these Factory plans so you can shop around or haggle a little on the price. yes, you still can finance a plan for a year (12 payments) with no interest. just my . 02, been there, done that.

I just received an offer direct from Dodge, on my 2004. 5, 3500 CTD. Three year (36 month) interest free payment plan and if no claims are made, 100% refund. The coverage ranges from 5 yr/70,000 miles for $1380, $38. 33 per month to 7yrs/100,000 miles for $2530, $70. 27 month. Good at any Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge dealership in the USA, Canada or Mexico. $100 Deductible.

Sixty days to review the plan with 100% refund if no claims are made.

The plan is called DaimlerChrysler's Maximum Care Money Back Service Contract.

Call Pete at 801-546-2456. He is the man at Layton Hills Dodge. Tell him Big Sgt sent you. I used to sell DC contracts and I wouldn't sell anything else. I even have the top of the line one on my truck, plus the OIL change contract.



Getting a DC contract over anything else is a pain, you may have to wait for approvals, and dealerships can have a real hard time with them. I was suppose to sell them to, so I could make more money, but I just didn't believe in them. Also buy it before you hit 12 months or it could cost you a couple of bucks more.



IF YOU PLAN ON KEEPING YOUR TRUCK FOR 100K, YOU SHOULD HAVE THE OIL CHANGE CONTRACT. Oil changes are not going to get any cheaper!
