I just went to the local gun show this weekend and came away w/ everything I went for; 1K of 38spl, 357, 9mm, 40s&w, and 2K of 45, along with some 308 stuff. Plenty of 5. 56 on Sunday still left too. I just wait for the shows or shoot reloads at the indoor range here rather than deal with the shipping. I'm lucky since the largest so-cal show is a mile from my house. I'm buying from Miwall at the show, and they have east & West Coast warehouses through Outdoormarksman. Not the exact same as the show prices, but close.



Ammo prices are up 30% since November. Traffic at the gun show has finally started to taper off too.

I just bought 800 rnds of 223 PMC from Sportsman Guide.

And for my M1, I'm on the 6mth waiting list at CMP foir the M2 surplus, so I've been buying a few cans at a time of M2 on auction. More than CMP, but cheaper than new, which I can't even shoot in the M1.

I want to get some more through auction, incase CMP runs dry. But the CC cant take any more.

Pistol, locally, I can get what I want, but it's a 2 box min / per cal / per day.
I bought some 357 and 38spl and burnt it up on the range.

Haven't been able to find any of that bulk mail order.


Some folks have mentioned it seems the hording has slowed a bit... if so, maybe in a month of two things will start to normalize a bit.

Myself and a co-worker went in together and ordered 1200 round of . 40 from cabela's about 2 weeks ago and it should be here this week.

I ordered 100 rounds of . 380 hornaday critical defense and it is supposed to ship 7-10-09. (from cabelas)
