Best place to put pusher pump?

I had a 2001 CTD and I had the BD pusher pump for it. I had it down by the tank. I ended up cutting the steel tubing running to the P. T. pump on the block to install the BD pump. When I sold the 2001, I pulled off the pump and am looking to install it on the 2006. The only thing I am concerned about is cutting the steel tubing. Does anyone have any ideas? Even if its going with a different pump? Thanks!

Well... CHeck out the install instructions for FASS for the 05-06. Its on their site. From what I "think", with the new glacier kit, you will have to cut the metal hardline too. If you are wanting to buy a new pump, im gonna recommend the glacier kit when it comes out. Im patiently waiting on it, should be out in a week or two.



Cool thing about the new kit is it runs in the stock lines so if you ever have a problem with the walbro pump, just a simple electrical connection and you are back on your stock pump to get home.

What exactly does the glacier kit consist of and from what Mfr. ? I have a 4. 5 and I am thinking of adding a pump. I tried to search on glacier kit but have just found others referring to this kit.



Second question is would it be smart to run another line when adding a pump like this so I could leave the stock line as is? If so what type of line and size would be adequate?

I believe they are refering to the kit glacier is putting together with the walbro pump. www.glacierdieselpower.com

I cut my hardline to install my pump. Used a stainless compression fitting to "tee" into the cut location, back by the tank. Piece of cake, really (other than taking a bath in diesel fuel).



I used a mini pipe cutter.
