How much of a job is it to install the Jacobs. Lets be blunt: How much of a job is it for mechanically challenged? Can the average bear handle this, or should I just bite the bullet and take it to my friendly dealer? Ray
It's really not bad at all. Basically some simple wrenching behind the turbo, mount a few parts and hook it up. You'll have to decide for yourself if you are up to it. I would say it's simpler than doing a brake job, but then I'm not very good at doing brake jobs.
I got mine thru Mopar 4 Less. I think it was about $550. The installation under the hood when very well. The instructions are easy to follow. The electrical switch under the dash was another matter. The instructions for that phase suck. Must have been written by a idiot. If I had it to do over again I would throw away the switch that came with the brake and install a simple toggle that would mount on the kick plate under the steering wheel.
