Fuel Injector Summary

Alternator Charging Issues with a Twist

Is there a safe online site to download specific repair procedures on our HPCR systems from Cummins or Mopar? The Haynes manual is very limited and mostly geared towards the gassers I tried adding a Vehicle to my ALLDATA Subscription last night and their having glitches processing payments. I'm currently involved in injector removal for testing at a Bosch dealer. I've read some Injector R&R procedures on this, from several hard core members here, thank you. And then last night I watched a YouTube video from Thoroughbred on the Do's and don't of injector installation and he explained a slightly different torque sequence from what I've seen here from our members. I guess if I had something in Print that I can refer to, I would feel more confident doing it myself .

I have the 2000+ page factory service manual for 2004, my buddy and I have used it for everything on my 04 and his 05 (5.9 engines)... Not sure what if anything is applicable to the 07 but many 3rd GEN systems stayed the same.PM me and I can try to send you the file, it was too big to post here (even compressed).

Here are the Fuel System TQ values for the 2004 5.9L (FCA factory manual)

Check your inbox, I sent you pages 1637-1650 about the injection system from the manuals in a conversation .... Let me know if you need more pages.
Not sure what the file size limit is... :D

I'm still waiting for Tech Authority to have stock of the 2020 manual so I can buy it (and the elec supplement).. I kyped this copy of the 04 manual off the net about 10 yrs ago.. Way better than any chilton / Hayes ever could be and from Dodge especially when I dug into my NV5600...., never really needed anything else, ever on my 04.

Thanks that will sure help. I'm just ready to order some tool that should make the injector job go easier. Do Flare nut crow foot wrenches work better than just a combination flare nut wrench especially on #5/6 feed lines? I see Geno's has a few options for getting to those rear tubes. And I see on the chart you sent over shows 22ft.lbs on those flare nuts, I guess you would almost have to use a Crows foot to achieve the proper torque?

There is a calculation for crows foot sockets on a tq wrench that takes into account the moment arm, but I've personally never done it.
