I would guess that since aluminum is so much thicker, your lugs may not be long enough if they were stacked back to back?

That could be or else they are trying to make the package cheaper by using the steel on the inners. I like rotating frequently without remounting the tires.

I was just on Rickson's site today looking at their pictures. The aluminum wheels looked like they were about an inch thick. I'm pretty sure that's the issue.

The other thing I noticed is how the price of tires has jumped in a year! I've always just watched the price of 225/70/19. 5, since some of our work trucks use that size. those prices have gone from $250 to $330 in one year! Then I looked at the 265/70/19. 5 and almost dropped a nut... $650!!!



Unfortunately for me, that is the size that I think would look best on my truck...
