best way to keep soot off the rocker??

my '06 seems to always have the lower rocker and rear bumper covered in soot, even stock it looked pretty bad, adding the smarty only makes it worse. is there some kind of easy to install exhaust tip that would help this??

get a exhaust tip that sticks out more. it might look goofy, but it works

ADD A TIP TO THE EXHAUST AND EXTEND IT OUT A LITTLE...

Add a tip cut at an angle and turn it down.
