Hello fello smokers. I just installed two new audio components in my factory system. I live in a smaller town and we have little radio stations to choose from. The latest and greatest invention for car audio is satelite radio called XM radio. A small roof mounted antena (or glass mount if you choose) pulls digital sound and delivers over 100 different chanels to choose from. You can tune in to your favorite XM radio station in L. A. and drive to New York without changing the station!! It truly is amazing. All you have to do is install this small main receiving unit under your drivers seat and plug it into your receiver's antena port and you are off and running. The entire unit was less than $275. 00 installed and a $9. 00 per month programing charge ind that is all. A small info box mounts neetly to your dash to let you change stations. Also I installed a powered subwoofer under my seat to help with the low bass. Not that I like blaring music, just a good quality tone. The unit is self powered and all you have to do is remove 4 bolts that hold the seat cushion to the frame, screw the unit to the floor of your truck and reinstall the existing cushion. Wire leads are routed under the carpeting and 4 simple hook ups are all you do. The unit is made by Kenwood and is model #KSC-WA62RC. It costs around $250. 00 installed and is a great addition to your factory unit. You will love it!!
