Anyone interested in a HP 5" exhaust brake

New Classified ad Notice

How the HECK could they be all gone already?:( I was the first to post here and somewhere else where these new studs was asked who would want some? How did I miss out?:(

I'm confused here- I'm sure I have read other threads about ARP having the end all strongest stud on the planet, now suddenly, they are making a stronger one???????

Someday, I'm going to take out those stock headbolts, and get me some of them studs.

Dont worry you are on the list of folks who are wanting/interested..... I don't have everything firmed up because I don't even have a final price yet. What would have been better said was if all the guys who contacted me are really serious then there will only be a couple left over sets if that.

Racin,

Don't get your panties in a bunch so quick. (Besides if you keep it up we might think you like em' that way or something) :--)

Just messing with ya.

Doug keep us updated on the progress.

Later,

Wes

I was supposed to have a firm price yesterday, but it did not happen... . Hopefully I will know today or tomorrow. I will post when I have the price and let guys pre-order if they want. From what I am told when these are gone there will not be any more for quite awhile.

Doug

Ok guys please email or pm me for pricing..... The order will be placed on June 2nd so I need to know by then. ARP is advising that this is a one time deal, they do not plan on making another run of these studs in the fututre.

Sorry to dig up the past but do you still have any of these kits available and what was the final price.

Who would be interested (I mean really willing to purchase within the next 60 days) a much better headstud? I am talking about one that is 12mm so that it will fit our blocks with no issues and is made of better material... . Something that we can consistantly torque to 160+ lbs!

Now the question is what would you be willing to pay... . I may have a line on this product but it looks like the studs will go for $700-$800, if I can get enough orders I may be able to get them for around $600 a set. This would be for the 12v, 24v, and CR guys.

Let me know what you think.

:--) I am hoping the price you pmed me was a typo  If not you misjudged a bit huh. The original guess I could deal with,BUT sorry not interested anymore.

Thanks for the fast reply though.

BTW,U had a chance to find fin count on the turbine of sps62 and silver 62yet?

BILLVO,

The price wasn't a typo, as mentioned the price from ARP was considerably higher than originally talked about with ARP. I would have loved to get the pricing down into the level above but there was no way to get it to happen. So we decided to have a very limited quantity made for the few guys that truely need them. They are not for the average street guy, these are for guys who are having HG integrity issues running O-ring/fire-rings and using studs.

As for the fin count..... Both have 10 fins.

If you look at it from my end there not that high! Think about the extra money I spent machining the block for 14mm's, then buying them and finally machining the head for the bigger studs as well as the dowels..... PITA!
