I can see where a large trucking company might save some money by adding the drain oil to the fuel. I cannot see the saving on one pickup truck. Just my $. 02.

take this from someone who has worked on big and small engines from Mercedes to Duetz for over 15 years in the Navy, your asking for trouble burning waste oil.
1. Your cylinder temperature is going to be lower. Oil does not burn as hot as fuel.
2. The carbon build up and sooting downstream will cause back pressure.
3. To top it off, I called my instructor at the Bosch injector rebuild school to check. He said don't even think about it.
The only time I added oil to fuel (and it was new oil) was in Antarctica. We were running JP-8 jet fuel in a pair of Detroit 6-71's . The reason for running the oil was because JP-8 has no lubricating qualities... . then it was 1 gallon to 200 gallons of fuel
