I just filled up exactly the same as I always do. I was expecting crappy mpg's, because I've been driving the truck as hard and as smokey as I can, to get a feel for the mods that I have done. It feels like I have doubled the power. I got 16mpg. Before, when the truck was stock I averaged right around 15mpg. Is it really possible that after I increased the power, I also increased the mpg's? Heck I'm thinking if I can drive like a human I will be getting 18 or better. :D

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah I get 17. 5 right now, same as it got bone stock. I let the coal roll off of every stop sign and red light LOL.

You also have to take in account the winter fuel blend is just now being sold out, you may have just gotten a batch of the summer mix which gives you another MPG or 2.

After the mods on my 97 #6 plate, 181 DV, TagII and BHAF my mileage went from 17 mpg to 19 - 23 according to my right foot.

I get 21. 5mpg on highway and even 80 85 mph 9 hour road trips and I get 17. 5 mpg pulling my 16' cargo trailier the worst I ever get is 15. 5 pulling my trailier with the foot on the floor on every take of like to see people expressions on their faces when they can't keep up with a smelly and smoke noisy diesel pulling 3000lbs behind it.

Thanks for the info guys, I was a little worried about having to drive normal again. :( But now I'm thinking I don't have to. :D
