Better price on Jacobs

I went by a local cummins dealer Friday and checked on a Jacobe E brake for my 2001 ETH DEE. He wanted $900 plus shipping and sales tax. That would be real close to $1000. Does anyone know a place I can get a better price?

I've found, believe it or not, Dodge has a better price. Paid $650/installed in '99.
Check moparforless or something like that.

I sent a request for quote to mopar4less for the brake and never got a response. I haven't followed up with a phone call yet. If anyone gets a price from them, I'd like to hear it.

After reading your post I may have to go to the Dodge dealer in town and double check the price they gave me. About a week ago I got a price of $675 plus taxes. That is uninstalled price. I sure hope the parts man was looking at the right item. I need to go buy one now if it means I save $225.

I don't know if they'll work on our particular set up as I don't know enough about e-brakes,but on ebay someone is selling a batch of 6 and I think they were Jacobs model 200 or something like that. Starting bid price is $199 and last i looked had no bids on it. If you type in their search engine cummins,it will be there somewhwere-that's how I found them. Let me know what you think of them.
