If you don't run windows, what do you run?
There are many other choices for operating systems. Some are better then others for tasks.
www.linux.org
www.sun.com (Solaris)
http://www.beincorporated.com/
www.apple.com (if you have a mac)
Google "Operating Systems"
If you are a computer notice, stick with what you have. If you have a second computer that is a little old (but farly fast), then download a distrabution of linux, I would suggest RedHat (
www.redhat.com). Instructions are simple.
I don't use windows because I don't need to. There may be an app or 2 that is windows only, at this point I can boot windows in a windows (read, virtual hardware), or use WINE to run the app on linux.
I enjoy not rebooting my deskop at work for months upon months at a time. I enjoy stability. I enjoy have 3 19" monitors connected to one machine

(yes, windows can do this, but the configurability of it sucks).
I'll post screen shorts of my work desktop when I get ot work tomorrow if I remember.
Also, in my case, the reason I strayed from company policy is that I only work with UNIX machines (Solaris, linux) as I'm a network admin, it's easier to just use the same enviroment. If I just admined NT boxes, I prolly would just be using windows. I would hate it, but it would be easier.
