Why not lower the rear instead of leveling the front with coil spacers?

I have them on my dually, tough tires and I am about due for new ones on the rear, have 75,000 miles on them and they are just touching the wear strips.

If you do a lot of towing / commercial driving they are great when loaded, but running empty they get loose REAL quick in the wet/snow, but they are near wore out too, whick wouldn,t help.

I am going to try the A/T Traction this time, hopefully will handle the wet or snow better and still get the over 60K out of them.

I got 45K out of the factory tires, 35K out of a set of Michellin MTX, and could probably squeeze another 5K out of these giving these 80K, so treadwear is great, never had a flat with these either (just jinx myself for saying that)

That's what i've been finding out, really tough hombre'. I'm happy with the LTXs, traction & treadwear are great. Just had them rotated & measured tread depth.

Had them on 15k miles & am down to 11/32. Stock they are 15/32. If I figured it right, @ 75%, they'll be @ 41k miles. That's great IMO. Just that they are almost double the price of the Commercials now. :--)

I have had them for about 5k miles on my dually. They do not ride as well as the original Michilins but the wet traction seems to be better for me.

Mine were good in the wet up until about 50,000 miles, then they tend to drop off quickly, I am super happy with them, they tend to ride harder than the Michellins, but when towing I like the extra firmness, gives you a more secure feeling.

I have them on the back on my truck and I like them ALOT better than the Michlens LTXs that were on there before. I picked the LTXs up with about 1/2 their tread life left and wore them down within 10-15,000 miles of just LIGHT towing. I've had the Commercials now for about the same time (granted I bought them new but) and they have stood up better to the towing. They have ALOT more traction than the LTXs did in the mud/snow.

I have BFG Land Terrains on the front and they suck. I've had them about 30,000 miles and already had one get a bubble in the sidewall. Their traction in the mud and snow sucks horribly. They've worn pretty good tho.
