I was wondering if anyone has a set of there yet? I have looked at the Goodyear MTR, Firestone Destination MT,Toyo open country MT. I have the Michelin LTX A/S that came on the truck for now. I am not a offroader, but I pull trailors to offroad parks for atv or jeep stuff (my therapy from work). The problem is I can get stuck on anything. I would appreciate any input!! I am thinking of a 285/70/17 or 315/70/17.

If you have no level kit or suspension system on that frontend. I would go w/ 295/70/17 Toyo M/T's. They would fit the front wheel well great w/o it looking too stuffed like a 315/35" on a front stock suspension and no rubbing on the control arms.

The Toyo M/T's wear just as good as thier A/T's and not much more louder. Great tire! Other sizes that would work is:

285/75/17, 34" tall

305/70/17, 33" range just like the 295s, but a wider tire.

If you have to pull ito soft terrain/ Slver Lakes go with the biggest foot print that you can squeeze in,don't worry about kissing the control arms a lil. Getting stuck when towing a trailer sucks.

Hey Kalamazoo MI, what's up? I have a house in Scotts (near Sprinkle and Center) that is for sale and I live in GR for the most part now. Not to many Cummins in these parts huh? I have the BFG AT KO's in 315/70/17 on a H2 rim and I really like them. No rubbing issues. I don't know about the M/T's though. I am sure you already know to air down your tires a bunch to help with not getting stuck!

I have a set of the 285 BFG Mud's and I just recently installed a 1. 5" leveling kit, now I need bigger tires. I love my 1st gen. mud tires, wearing really well, dig like crazy, noise is not too bad. The firestones dig good too, but are noisy as well.
