BFG tires prices

I've been searching high and low for the best price on BFG 315/70/17 All terrain ta KO tires for my on order 2004. 5 2500 4X4. It seems that the price on these tires have gone up drastically in the last few weeks. The places I've checked they have gone up about 60 dollars(tirerack) to 97 dollars (sams club). So I called tirerack at 1 888 541-1777. They initially quoted me a price of 182 each. I told them I saw their internet add showing the BFG 315 70 17 at 124 each, however the ad expired on 1/31/04. I asked them why such a big increase. I was told these are the "new" prices that take effect on March 1,2004. So he sold me 4 tires for 125. 00 each plus 81. 40 for shipping. So if anybody out there is thinking of buying these tires, you'd better jump on it.

I just thought I'd pass this along to the group..... !!!

P. s. DC has given me a ship date of 3/10/04. Waiting not so patiently... ...

Just bought some and put them on thursday 640 out the door tax and road hazard. Another place quoted me the 285 size at $1059. 00 i told them i don't think so. They rub when i turn all the way on the arms but no plastic or bumper rubbing when hitting bumps.

BFG just wants to get rich off of us. Was at Wal-Mart earlier and they wanted $317 a tire. Maxxis makes the buckshot in a 305 I might price that.

I'm sorry... but how the heck does walmart start charging nearly TRIPLE what these tires cost :naw: ... The 315's should NOT ever be over $200/ tire... if you pay this... it;s too much. Even when I priced the 285's they were under $225/tire.



Heck... for $300+ you can get the BFG CRAWLERS... . someone is messing with you ... . or

Nope. My Wal-Mart has a catalog in the Automotive section with all tires and sizes they can get. It was a brand new 2004 book.

I got mine from the local Sams club back in Nov. and they were 115 ea. Someone PMd me and said they are over 200 now

Bought a NEW set of four BFG-315'S off E-BAY for 520. 00 delivered to the door... ordered on Sat. rec. on Wen... ... ... paid too much for mounting 100. 00 and they didn't screw the valve all the way in ... . friend told me dealer only charged him 48. 00:{ ... ... saved a few nickels ..... attitude+altitude=

Got a quote of $115 per tire (BFG AT/KO 315/75/R17) from Sam's Club two weeks ago, but was told I had to go into the store to place the order. So, I called NTB (National Tire and Battery) and they matched Sam's price. Paid $17 per tire in addition for mount/lifetime balance/valve stems. I was pleased, these prices are from Birmingham, Alabama.

If you are in the market for new tires, look at 4Wheel parts . They have very good prices on BFG,Trxus,ProComp,ect. For the dually guy's like myself, the BFG M/T in a LT255-85-16 is only 139. 99. And for the SRW truck guys a LT315-75-16 is 202. 99. They are having their annual march madness sale and it includes free fright, this is a huge savings and can make for a great deal. Perfect time to buy anything heavy, like tires, winch, grill guards.





They have many buy 3 get 4 deals and several rebate offers.

So why did you get them from NTB then?

sams is $9 for the mount/lifetime balance/valve stems/lifetime rotations/ and road hazard

You won't do much better at Costco in VA either. Don't know why they are charging so much I'm kicking myself for not buying the 315's at Tirerack.com when they were $117 a piece.

I just got a set from VFR Truck accessories for $370 shipped. Not sure about his supply or if he still has the same deal.



EDIT: They are Hummer take-offs, but look brand new.
