yep, it fits. the Donaldson crosses with the Fleetguard AH19037, NAPA 2790, WIX 42790, and the Baldwin PA2820. here is a link to a pic of mine in the reader's rigs with the "redneck sucker sock". https://www.turbodieselregister.com/user_gallery/displayimage.php?&photoid=551&width=2 i've been running the same filter now for almost 30 K miles. just change the sock every other oil change. filter still looks new.

be sure to put some vacuum caps on the studs when you take out the stock air box, else you'll wear a hole in the filter. also pad the metal A/C line--i used pipe insulation foam, or the filter will chafe the A/C line.

I'm thinking of going with this filter. What all does a guy need? In the foto Looks like filter is the only thing?

BHAF

jeff, the BHAF inserts directly into the airbox end of the air hose--no adapter needed. i've heard of some folks using a short piece of 4" PVC to keep the mouth of the filter from collapsing. no problem with the NAPA i'm using so far.

i've heard prices quoted from $30-$50 for different of the filters, depending on the source. mine from NAPA cost me about $40.

Jeff;

Jerry Stordahl & I both got Fleetguard filters from Cummins N Power. Paid $36. 75 including tax & freight. Not sure where JJW got his

Remember the diamond plate mount in JJW's truck? I have the pattern for it.

I went the fast route and cut a piece of ¼ plywood and bolted it to the airbox studs with 2 band clamps around the wood and filter. I clamped the hose directly to the filter neck as did JJW. I don't remember if Jerry S used a piece of pipe, but he did run a screw through the clamp. hose, & neck for added security.

I stopped at Zip's in St. Cloud on the way to Goerend's last May. I showed them the BHAF and the comment was "holy I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER" and "what is the part number of that thing"

email if you want more info.

I'm going with the Donaldson over the Napa because the Napa dealer here ( Bigfoot Auto ) wants $95 + shipping. These guys are the biggest rips in this town!

The Donaldson in Whitehorse, YT is $62. 50 Canadian==$41USD.
