Bhaf Vs K&n0880

I have the k&n 0880 the whine does get a little overwhelming on cross state trips with the little woman.

Does the BHAF really tone it down a notch? Also with the wrap

on is it still an improvement over the 0880? Thanks RJ

Good question, I am getting rid of my K&N for the very reason you described. It will be interesting to see what the results are. Sorry I couldn't help with your question, just want you to know your not alone.

I use to have the reo88o and now have the BHAF with out the Wrap. As far as EGT's Its the same for me. It did tone down the whine a little bit but I still get a nice whine So I like that. I just didnt want to deal with the oiling etc anymore but I was happy with the k&n. But the BHAF is impressive when you open the hood. People go :--)

i also got away from the k&n 0880... could be that mine was dirty, but it seems like i'm a little quicker off the line now. as far as noise, i havent really noticed a huge difference-still get to hear the turbo around town, but maybe a little less annoying on the highway. just personal preference, but my vote so far goes to the bhaf...

I have ran both. personally I think the BHAF is substantially quieter! In fact I have a friend that changed to the BHAF but went back to his old setup because of the lack of turbo noise.
