Bicycle crash on Wednesday

I crashed riding my road bike on Wednesday around my neighborhood when I hit some sand left by the rain. I am seriously briused frm shoulder to knee on my right side and broken right elbow. I was in the hospital for two days and now have another plate and 7 screws in my body. It could have been worse, but God took care of me. I won't be able to drive my truck for a few weeks because my right arm is in a cast.

Looking at that x-ray hurt so much, I just went to the garage and kicked my road bike. I left the Mountain bike alone. But if you want I can go back and kick the Mountain bike too. Get well Soon.

My wife had foot surgery yesterday, she got 1 or 2 little screws in her foot. She's on percoset for the pain. Boy is she mellow! :-laf

I didn't realize you could get that hurt on a bike.

Wholly threadsert batman! Ken didn't you just have a bad wipe like a year ago or so? Man I dunno who can't possibly get queesy from that but man that looks nasty! Hope the recovery goes well. Now is this something that will be removed or is permanent?

Dood. First of all that is an opinion. Going by that mentality, we should get rid of Pizza because it can make you fat.



Second, both of Klingers accidents were on bicycles.

When I was growing up (some think I still am) I had dirt bikes and moto X bicycles. Early BMX.

At least in my case I had many more serious accidents on bicycles. By a LARGE margin.

I dont think I ever got hurt on a motorcycle..... but oh I tried.

I've lost by far more skin on Bicycles, but my more painful crash was on my motorcycle. And trust me... . it's not more painful by much.



I'll just say 35mph downhill on tar, no shirt... and I tried to show off and ended up using my elbow and my shoulder for brake pads... . That was my pedal bike...
