David?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It appears to me, that his truck is stored in a Bedroom, not a scratch on it and the undercarriage in MINT condition, Its prolly safer to eat off of davids engine compartment than most upscale restaurants in Beverly Hills

Oh BTW are you going Jakey,Mediccummin,JGheen?

Hey Joe,If Dave comes on the next ride with a promise of getting his truck dirty you have to promise to keep up :D

I'll make david a deal,

He makes no excuses and finally takes his truck out and gets it dirty

as we each did@ BigBear, and I won't eat the entire day

Next time we get another big storm comin' through, hopefully soon, I am definately headin' up that way and takin' as many of you with me. Joe, you should have your lift and tires on by then right? Maybe middle of next month or so. Possibly even Janurary?

BTW, call Chris @ 4 Wheel Customs for all your lift and tire needs and tell him I sent you, you won't be disappointed in the pricing as he will beat everyone, even 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers.

Greg, Thanks for putting this on and getting the group out into the dirt. I wish I could have gone, but the deal to buy the Jeep didn't pan out, and Heat in the house was higher on the priority list.

With regard to Kent's Comments on So Cal Events- Keep in mind Kent, that only about 40% of the trucks in out 150+ membership base are 4X4. I'm all for an offroad adventure, but that automatically excludes a strong number of "regulars". Speaking of "regulars", I'd hardly call showing up to the Foothill Festival and one?? other event in San Diego a "regular" showing. :p Guys ask for you at those "sissy" BBQ events!!! ;) I try and plan a wide range of events, and standing around looking at pretty shining trucks, BSing on a Saturday afternoon eating a bratworst ranks high in the suggestion box- and regularly draws 30-50 trucks. Maybe not your idea of an adventure, but a strong showing none the less. Plus,I might add, its thats kind of passion for a our trucks that drives us to spend thousand of dollars on suspension. ;)

I'd love to see another one of these, within a better timeframe and have a caravan of the 2x crowd head up the mountain and warm the seats for ya for when you guys get there. :-laf

Good luck on the Baja next week- we'll be cheering for ya!

Just tell him JGheen off TDR sent me?

No, he knows me off od PavementSucks.com, but I am sure he will remember my name. He gave me a great price on the boggers that beat 4 Wheel Parts and he told me to spread the word about his business as it is new and he can get anything you need to set-up your truck with a lift, tires, etc. The best service I have recieved in a while. :D Oo.

Kevin,

You know I love to go to all your events. I was just ribbing you guys a bit for having trucks so clean and perfect that you could eat a four course meal off the axle housings! haha!

My joking about the sensors in the wiper wash reservoir were directed mostly to one member anyway - a guy who has probably the most beautiful 2nd gen truck I've ever seen with every cool detail well-thought-out to make the truck durable, reliable, and off-road capable (i. e. our system). He would probably argue this statement, but I doubt if that truck has ever had more dirt on it than a bug hitting his windsheild! hahaah!

he he he, you know who you are, Mr. Always Best-of-Show guy...

Anyway, I look forward to your next event. You guys are all First Class in my book!

Best Regards,

Kent Kroeker

Hay Kent,

I love when you talk about me and my Baby :-laf

But you are wrong!!!!

I do take it Off road and I have alot of fun showing it off :D

It takes alot of time getting it back looking like a show truck :D

I have a 1989 Jeep that looks very clean also :D I take it rock crawling and hunting, fishing, etc, etc. And it looks very clean also. :D

If you take care of your toys they will take care of you :D

You will see it off road when I have the time plan for it. Family always comes first in my book. :D

David :D

Off Roading in the grass at a park is not considered off roading Dave!

While on the trail ride we held a vote for officers:

Dang!! :{ I thought I would be voted out of office for my recent attendance problems. I knew it was thankless job, just didn't realize it was undiserable! :-laf

You guys crack me up though. Kent I knew who you were pointing fingers at ;), I just had to help my friend Dave out. You know he does drive the truck... ..... about once a month... ... ..... to the detailers :-laf .

Besides, without Dave, where are we supposed to serve Joe's four course lunch on at our BBQ's??

Again, best of luck in Baja, make sure and bring back some Tequila for us!

Dave,

Your suspension is not outdated!

The T. Rex parts you have on your truck are still the best you can buy. KORE parts are similar in concept but a little bit more refined; that's all. The KORE aluminum shock mount attaches from the bottom of the spring bucket, easing installation and, most importantly, preventing theft. You also don't have to pass the reservoir through the mount; the mount has a cut-out for the hose, so it's much easier to install. Although nobody has ever been able to break or damage the T. Rex mount (your mount), the new design is approximately four times stronger. The new KORE Fox shocks provide longer travel on the droop side, so limit straps are no longer required. For better cooling, the new KORE shocks also incorporate 1. 25" longer reservoirs - but aside from that it's all the same great stuff.

So, no worries; your suspension is still cutting-edge technology - not even close to being outdated!

Best Regards,

Kent
