Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) BIG, BIG BIG flat spot !!

I start the engine, put it in gear, give it some fuel. . and the truck hardly moves... no boost, egts don't climb... just flat... then if I turn it off and start it again it's fine, BAWAHHHHH... . sometimes it does this when I'm just driving along... . try to accelerate, and it's just flat..... when it's dead I've tried turning off the Comp to no avail... I just have to wait, or pull over and restart... . any ideas ??? :{

Check for codes, turn the key on and off 3 times, check the pcm & ecm, . but you might as well make funeral arrangements for your vp 44 cause its dying.
