World's funniest joke

I was in Abingdon, VA in the antique shops yesterday and 3 harley davidsons pulled up and parked. These 3 bikes had big block chevy motors in them (I know what a chevy big block looks like). Has anybody else seen any of these and know what they cost? Are they a production bike or is it custom? Just curious!

The ones I have seen are called "Boss Hoss" or something very similar. Lots of them running around with small blocks in them, but I have also seen one with a big block. I asked the guy about it and he told me it was a 502 cubic inch 502hp Chevy crate motor. I know what a 500HP BBC sounds like and I don't think he was pulling my leg, it was incredible.

They are a limited production bike, and prices for the SB bikes start at around $30K. Do an internet search on "Boss Hoss" and see what you find.

I saw one once with a aluminum block, 600HP sprint car motor in it. That's insane. No transmission either. One speed - FAST.

These are built just North of here in Dyersburg, TN. I see them every once in a while in Memphis. The builder started off calling them Boss Hogs, but Harley Davidson did not like the reference to Hog so they changed the name.

I have never ridden one, but I have two nephews in Memphis who own them.

They used Chevrolet small blocks only to start with, but 502 big blocks are now available. Both of the bikes owned by my nephews are 350 small blocks with aluminum heads. Both of them get ridden a lot and are enjoyed very much.

:D :D :D

my dad's best friend has one with the 502. all i can say is sick. there's a company that custom makes a 606 block at about $25k if i remember right. the boss hosses come with short automatic tranmissions with reverse. they only have 2 gears on them--2nd is usually only used above 60mph. their first models were slow (must have been the torque converter) and had little chrome, but that changed a year later. you'd think it's hard to ride, but he (Bill) says that they're very nicely balanced. i gotta snap some pics of this thing.

if you need attention, get a Boss Hoss!:D

Tip it

Tip one over and find out what kind of man you really are...

I like these better. They come in big blocks and dually rears to.

I just saw a few of the Boss Hoss bikes at a show this weekend, real nice. One had a 502 in it. All of them were chromed to the max. Pretty neat for sure.
