major mods going on a eth this weekend HX40 mcleod clutch, custom made exhaust and possibly another gauge the white dually is loose on the streets once more I guess the sidewalks too

well it will be at Erb Bros repair on main street we will be there early and work till its done the parts finally showed up and the truck is finally out of the shop if anyone wants to check it out its easy to get there 99 south to turlock west main exit head west past carls junior about three miles out of town just after tegner which only goes left its a tractor shop on the right

HVAC,the remedy for the truck was a new ecm put it in solved all the problems whats your schedule like HVAC maybe friday I need to call him and make sure he will be there
 
What do you think Nowel does this call for a BOMB run to Turlock?? I need to go get my trailer on Saturday and that is on the way you know. #ad
 
Well Friday (tomorrow) super stroker Brian and I will be at RPM engine and machine to do some dyno runs on his truck. We are trying to get a handle on how much horsepower the various chips will provide.

Saturday might be a possibility.

Well let me know if you guys are coming we will have the turbo done early I will be building the exhaust and my "pit crew" and I will be doing the clutch hopefully that gauge shows up and we can do that too Nowell you have my numbers if not here they are again(209)652-5303 (209)613-9675 both are on me at all times

mission accomplished HX40 in and running Mcleod in and running (some problems with this they didn't send the pilot bearing or the throw out but we improvised JOHN DEERE TECHNOLOGY inside the clutch)custom made 4" exhaust from the turbo back even machined out the turbo housing more flow ar ar ar now need to find a fueling box that will work on an ETH any Ideas

Project that got way out of hand: total "BOMB"
95 Wrangler 4. 0L, NV4500, Reverse cut Dana 60 rear 44 front, Altas II, Quarter Eliptic suspension in rear, coils up front, Warn 10,000 lb to turn me right side up and the list goes on!
 
hey mike the HX40 is a wise investment for moderatly bombed trucks imo my boost increase was about 4to 6 lbs which means nothing the boost is not what I am interested in its several other things 1) is the volume of air being prduced, when boost levels are moderate to low but the volume is high that equates into cold air being produced by the turbo, which is what you want, when you start pushing a turbo out of its range then it starts heating the air and the egt goes through the roof. 2)I will add enough fuel to get the turbo to its max efficency after that we need to re evaluate the way we are attacking the EGT'S which means Twin Turbo's
 
Wiz, why didn't you ever do any cool stuff like this when you were a Ford guy? I don't remember ever reading about it.

Well for one reason you can't run twins on a ford Head gaskets and lack of room 2) IMO I don't think that engine will take that kind of abuse for any period of time I had some stuff done to my ford it ran pretty well but the V8 configuration has its limits that are very costly to overcome in fact I have a f550 with a nice port hole in the side of the block totally stock 112000 miles. But to be honest when I was getting ready to buy another ford and descided to go dodge "The Ford Boy's" jumped my case check out the thread it called jumping ship on the '99 and up upgrades and aftermarket forum I think after that any tweeking I do in the near future will be done on the ranch and kept secret plus I am building a powerstroke killer now they made me mad so Im comming after them now some guys had my back on that deal and I thanked them but for the most part I will find them eventually its all in good fun shoot I don't know of any diesel that will run with HVAC anyway I'll get off my horse now take care johnny boy and tell the ford boys to watch over their shoulder there will be a white dually looking for some ford blood LOL

I have to agree with HVAC johnboy3 that post number is pretty weak anyway I didn't remember that you were the first one on my side again thanks for the help that whole thing still gets me a little flamed up these guys around here are pretty cool glad to see you over here
