Ted, LOL, I can honestly say that I do remember the taste, many moons ago when I was sick and grabbed the wrong thermometer to check my temp. Back in the days when we didn't have the ear thermometers. Bet the guy that invented the ear thermometer tasted it once or twice also
.
Thanks again for all the kind words, she's doing great !!! Looks like we'll call this one a wrap.
I had a long post last night that the spell checker wiped out on me, way too late to re-type... .
I'll have to check with the vet tommorrow on the ramifications of having no spleen. Barkley is already vaccinated for the lymes, I'll see if there are any other things that need to be done. Guessing here that a good cannine multi-vitamin may be in order.
We don't show the dogs, though Barkley is graded as a show quality Saint. Baxter is more of a drooling lug.
The Rainbow Bridge was awesome PitBull, thanks
.
Just when I thought I was done with vet bills for awhile, Baxter had a hot spot that turned ugly, so he's off to the vet on Friday. I'm starting to see why many choose the smaller dogs, these guys are getting expensive.
