I'm going to be splurging very soon on my truck, this is my favorite truck of all time, and will keep it till the moon turns purple.

BUT, for now I need your help about where to get a downpipe.

I'm looking at KK's B-1 turbo, and the option of a 5" downpipe,, well, I have a bunch of 5" elbows and adaptors for my Backordered 5" stacks, I'm thinking,,,, all I have to do to go for a 5" turbo-to-stacks exhaust setup is order a few more feet of 5" pipe, and a 5" downpipe.

Questions for yall...

Will a 5" downpipe fit ok?

Where to find 5" downpipe for "not so much $$"

TIA,

MerrickNJr

You'll have to measure the point where your bellhousing and right frame rail come close together. It will be a tight fit so keep in mind the engine vibration.

Will do thanks.

Has anybody run a 5" downpipe?

Those with 4" D-Pipes,, how close are you? Does it look lik a 5" would fit? I'll go out a measure it a bit right now.

I'm running a 5" downpipe and it's a tight fit. There's about a half inch of room on either side where it passes by the bellhousing. Doesn't seem to hit or rub at all.

For anyone that wants to go over the rear axle you'll need an expanded 45 into an expanded 90 into another expanded 90. Use the closest radius elbows you can find. This will give you a 45 degree exit angle for the exhaust tip.
