Looks like the jacked up Ford height worked against it... I've seen this several times whem a lifted vehicle actually rides over a vehicle and flips. Lots of damage. Lucky no one was killed or hurt bad.

Wife and I took our regular walk around the neighborhood. Talked to a fellow for a bit. I asked him if he heard about the accident. He was there when it happened. He actually saw the truck launch and roll in the air! He didn't see what the cause was... I suspect it didn't get his attention until it was kinda too late to have seen the events leading up to it. He said it was scary seeing the underside of the truck while it was flying through the air. After that he said it was like a bowling ball hitting the pins as the cars were sitting at a traffic light when the truck hit them.

Something similar happened to a friend's son a couple of years ago (also driving a Powerstroke, although not a dually). He was driving on a 4-lane road about 40-45mph when some dumb kid going the other way in a car dropped his cigarette lighter or cell phone or something and reaches down to get it. While doing so, the kid pulls the steering wheel to the left and crosses three lanes of traffic. Friend's son saw it coming and slammed on the brakes (thus transfering the balance of weight forward); dumb kid's car hits the truck just behind the cab. Between the forward momentum, the weight of the PS engine, and the dumb kid's car under the tire of the truck, it sumersaulted the truck forward.



Fortunately, no serious injuries in that one either. Both vehicles totaled. And the cop who shows up to work the scene had ticketed the dumb kid about a week earlier for another dumb stunt.

The stupid kid driving the truck was probably driving too fast for conditions and texting his girlfriend to ask a vitally important question like "whassup?" and ran over a line of cars stopped at a light.

Nine cars and one pos Furd destroyed and one or two injured. Nice work kid. Wonder how long it will take his insurance company to pay out max limit on his liability insurance and cancel him?

How long will it be before Insurance will require photo's of the trucks configuration etc... . they do that for older cars like my '68 Barracuda. Not fun

Anytime you have a bird landing, chances are someone is hurt...

My guess is when the insurance company tells him what they are will to pay, he will need re-admission to hospital. Lots of farkles on that thing and he will never see a dime for them.
