Big Honkin Exhaust Tip??

I have been looking for a big chrome tip for my 5" exhaust, but have been unsuccessfull at finding a good solution. Can anyone recommend a place to find a big tip?

My current tip, which I like very much, is a Summit PN: SUM-691119

This tip is a 4" inlet, to 5", with a slant sut, rolled tip. The slant cut is only about 10 degrees, not a 45 degree miter tip. What I'd like to find it the same thing, but 5" inlet and 6" outlet, slant cut.

I have thought of hacking the 4" off of my 5" tip, but I want to exhaust my other options before I hack the tip.



By the way, to those of you with stock exhaust, this Summit tip is perfect to go over the flared end of your stock tailpipe. It fit so tight I had to heat the tip with a propane torch to slide it up on the pipe. I didn't even need a clamp after it cooled, but put a band clamp on anyway.



Any pointers in the right direction will be appreciated.

Chris, Check Berubes www.berubes.com . I bought a Grand Rock 7 inch reduced to 5 Inch slash cut chrome top stack for my exhaust tip. It's about 20 inches long. If I remember right it was about a $120. 00. Also order a stainless steel 5 inch band clamp and it will clamp right on to your 5 inch exhaust. I don't have any pictures, but it looks sweet. -Glen

You might try Fred at Desert Diesel Parts. Was up at his place the other weekend and he had the bed off his truck with a 5" exhaust and 6" tip. Looking at it kind of made me feel real inadequate.

Got mine from Rip too.



He took a 4-6 tip and plasma cut the end so it slipped perfectly over the 5" pipe.



Welded it on.
