A lot of the old draglines and shovels had their booms ripped off, and were buried in the pits they dug.

Neat machine, I attended an old settlers reunion and steam show this summer and they had an old steam shovel there in working condition. Looked like one hot job to me. Both for the fireman and the operator.

Know how you feel about the machines. I saw "the Muskie " before it was raped. What a shame , now with the price of oil Im sure a few companys here in Schuylkill Co. would love to own it for what we are getting for black diamonds now.
