I am installing a big line kit and it came with all 90* fittings. The one on the back of the lift pump interferes with the dipstick tube. I've tried turning it about all directions and the only position that doesn't rub on anything is straight up with the hose making a u turn and coming straight down. Wiill this cause a problem with the fuel going up then falling back down into the pump? I would rather get a 45* fitting witch would work much better, but I dought I can get one here on sunday. I am pretty disapointed to buy a kit and have t

to buy more parts to do it right.

I'm pretty sure the little loopty loop in the fuel line won't cause you any problems with fuel flow as long as the line doesn't get kinked. I'm assuming the fitting on the back of the lift pump, you refer to is the one coming from the fuel tank. The one Scotty supplied to me for that position is a straight fitting. He also supplied a straight fitting for the injection pump. That allows the fuel line to arc around the power steering pump filler cap.

why go to all the trouble of a big line kit and then leave in the factory lift pump?

its gonna crap out probably sooner than later... ...
