Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Big Oil Leak

I got a big oil leak on my '98. 5 24 valve that seems to be coming out near the AC compressor. I checked all the bolts that hold on the oil pan and the other covers on front of the engine and it still leaks pretty good. (1. 5 gal. per 500 miles) It doesn't seem to be coming out of the crank seal area. Does any one have any ideas. I hope it's a simple fix.

How many miles on you rig and could it be from the vacuum pump seal that is between the vacuum pump and the power steering?? I know they are on th opposite side but

It may be coming from behind the fan hub and running down there along the top of the timing case? If so KDP. Did it start all of a sudden one day or has it been getting gradually worse?

The truck has 140,000 miles and the leak just all of sudden started. Good thing a gallon of oil isn't much more than a gallon of diesel!

Sounds very much like a KDP. What year is the truck?
