Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Big Question....

well... im in need of a transmission for my dodge... ive gotta transmission out of a 1990 Chevy Scottsdale 3/4 Ton 4x4... ... could i fab it up to work with the Cummins??... . would i have to change the valve body?... ... . plain and simple could i get it to work with the cummins?...

What did they put in that '90 chevy? Wasn't it a TH400? I don't think the 4L80 came out until much later. What year is your dodge? Would you be going from a 4 speed to a non-lockup 3 speed? There is a bellhousing/adapter that will mate straight up to the turbo 400 as I think the 4BT was attached to it in some delivery trucks. You just have to find the adapter.
