Sounds like your "War Department" went to the same War College my "War Department" attended. What time to meet at Frederick? I didn't meet you guys in Frederick last time since I camped at Wiredawg's. Got to back that up to a time at Hagerstown for FFUTCH and any others coming from the "West".

Speaking of the War Department, I'm informed that I need to get home early to go pick up my parents at the airport.



When does this thing start? I know last time it was still dark when we met. I think Doug had to get up a 2:30 or something to meet us in Frederick. I'm not sure we need to get there as early as last time. Took about 1. 25 hrs to get there from the P&R on I270 at the first exit south of Frederick. About 5 miles south of Frederick.

I didn't know there was an event this close to my house. I'm about 2X miles away in Waldorf. I would like to meet up with some of you this weekend.

I am right down the road in Mechanicsville. I didn't think there was anybody else this far down in Maryland that was on here. I'll be at the track and I am looking foward to meeting you. Weather looks a little iffy for the weekend, and it doesn't seem like were going to have quite the turn out that we did this past spring, but it will be nice anyhow.

I would like to join the caravan down to the Big Rig Nationals. I will be coming from central PA, down US 15 through Harrisburg and into Fredrick. Anybody else coming down 15 that I can join up with? If not, could someone tell me how to get to the P&R on 270? And, just to clarify, the official time of departure is 6:30AM, right?

Oasis-3 and I are leaving from the York,PA area from I-83(right off the Prospect Street exit at the Rutters store,off exit and turn left it in front of you) at 5am to make it,,From my house to Maryland International Raceway at Budds Creek it about a 2hr trip,depending on traffic,etc,etc(or me getting people lost,which the gang here will say I am good at),,Surprise I have had my nose in the air way too many times at MIR to not find that house of speed or taken way to many hits in the side,rear and guardrail shots at the next door dirt track,,I'll PM a number for you to reach me if you want to follow us down... ... Till Then... ... Andy



P. S. -Chatted with Chef Wiredawg this week and he informed me he was not attending due to studies for his promotion test,,However I see he has not posted anything about it,so if he does not show we will not have a grill to cook on,do we just want to do a coldcut sandwich/salads style eat,,Its got to be better than MIR's world famous nasty food and expensive drinks????

Most of us are planning on getting to the gate around 7:45 you are welcome to meet us there or if thats too early we will have a place staked out inside on the pit area.
