I got my truck 3 years ago on EBAY from Texas. It has a "Ranch Hand" bumper. It must weigh about 350 lbs and it is a combo bumper/grillguard that is heavier than most I've seen. The website is:

I have the southwest fabricators on mine. They're more reasonable than the others, not sure why, they weigh as much as a ranch hand. I bought mine used off this truck, I don't have digitals of it on mine yet. This truck/bumper were in an accident and the bumper has minimal damage while the other car was totalled. I put my factory fogs in the holes in the front, the brackets are there and the holes are perfect size.

There was a Dodge dually running around here on MCAS, Cherry Point with a massive bumper and I ran him down and asked where he had got that it and he gave me a brocher. There building mine for $650 with a reciver for a winch, $50 option. Just go to www.lonestartruckequipment.com and click under the wild west series. The bumper also has cut outs for the fog lights. Here's their number also, 1-800-752-6641 I don't see how they profit from these bumpers because there so big, but hey I'm not complaining...

I prefer www.reunel.com especially the pricier stainless steel. It is 3/16" thick (except the center mounting and bracing stuff which is heavier) so weighs less than the 1/4" stuff. No stone chips or "welded" on bug goo that ruins powder coat finishes--the stainless is mirror polished and looks like chrome. I prefer the "cleaner" styling on a third gen--whatever floats your boat.

Stainless is much more resistant to weathering, oxidizing, road salt, and cracking from stresses than aluminum. Aluminum has to be coated to gain significant resistance, and the coating is subject to the same problems as paint.

Ranch Hand Factory outlet is like 13 miles from the house. Wayyy overpriced, especially when they are not even hand built anymore! If you want a custom made bumper, look up www.southtexasoutfitters.com..... they are really overpriced, but everything looks pretty sharp, especially with 5" Pipe, rather than 4... . Before you buy the big Texas bumper, type "Off Road Tech" into a search engine and go to their web site. They fabricate an off road bumper for a Dodge that is seriously heavy duty and good looking also. Twelve hundred bucks, I have one on my truck, packs a 12,000 lb. winch, also have a matching one on the back. The Texas style looks definately sturdy, but looks a little like a bulldozer blade.

Have a Maverick on the wife's 04. Weighs ~250#, easy install. Came from somewhere in TX. About $900 shipped to northern IN. Looks great and she gets lots of looks because of it.

Southwest fabricators - Bought mine from dealer in Brownsville TX 2001- Excellent construction and paint (powder coat). Mounting left a little to be desired; Tow Hooks were a problem but was able to make em fit.
