RMTDR Schedule 2003 so far

RMTDR wrench day 03-09-03

First and for most, I want to throw a huge thanks out to MLockner, BarryG and to Big O for letting us have this meeting.

The meeting was great. We did a couple of injector installs, some KDP Jigs, and we had a great turnout!!

Thanks to everyone for joining and helping out. I think we all learned a lot from one another. Now we just gotta keep up the good work.

To everyone who attended!!!! Great Job!!!

Sregorb - I read your earlier post, sorry you couldn't make it. I figured you just "Chicken'd" out... LOL

Kev

Kev, LOL,

Yea, right, about the fourth hour of the kids screaming in their fever-induced agony trying their best to keep me from getting ANY rest I was about willing to don the mascot suit just to get out of here... ...

If I didn't think I'd wrap the truck around a tree coming back (then I'd REALLY be sorry) I would've toughed it out. The bad's on me anyway because I was gonna rotate the tires while there and had a lift available. Now I'll have to do it the hard way and soon. For some reason I just can't seem to keep tread on the rear tires.

Oh, and I'm dying to hear how the stock vs EZ comparison went!

Brian

Sorry to hear about the kids Brian. I hope everyone is feeling better.

If you need help with the lift pump or the tires, just let me know. I'd be more then happy to come down and help you out.

I've got to do some wiring on my truck anyways, so hopefully we can get another "Wrench Days" here pretty soon.

Kev

Absolutely, Thank you Mike, Barry and to Big O! What a great place to meet. Thank you Kevin for helping out on my injector install! Great meeting, look forward to another down the road.

No problem buddy, I'm just glad I was able to help out and teach you something.

Though you've gotta do me a favor out of respect to the TDR. You've gotta take that bone stock comment out of your Sig... cause your truck isn't a virgin anymore... LMAO :D :D

Kev

I second that!!!!:D Thanks to everyone involved in organizing and holding the event. I didn't do any wrenching, but enjoyed learning a little about injector installs and getting to drive mlockners DTT transmission. THANKS MLOCKNER!!!!!

jrandol, I hope you enjoy your 275's and let me know if you see a mileage increase after you get the "new" out of them.

Kevin, if I ever do my injectors plan on a PM from me checking your schedule and what kind of beer you like so you can help me with the install.

Thanks again to everyone and it was good meeting some new CTD owner. :D :D

Big O rmtdr

It was another great day in the rockies, with friendly and knowledgeable Dodge Diesel owners doing their thing. Thanks to all who attended, I had a great time. TBOB

I'm there buddy... you just tell me when :D :D

Kev

Well that was a great day. 3kdp's, 2 sets of injectors and a comp box among other things. went very well, learned alot. Never should have drove mike's truck becuae I felt like I was driving a slug all the way home. Darn you Mike. Hopefully see everyone on the 5th at Colorado Diesel. I will post the particulars of that in another thread. Anyway Big thanks to all who showed and especially to Big O for hosting the wrench day.

From what I recall the weather has been wonderful past few days correct? Wasn't it in the 60's for your little party?

The warm weather during the day is causing havok up in the mountains with rocks coming down on my tracks.

Kat

The weather was great. If not 60 very close. Bit breezy but Big O Tire put this on for us and they had I think it was 8 bays at our disposal. What a treat. I hear you on the rocks. I have been driving down to Cortez almost every weekend to burn brush/slash and each Friday night when I get to Wolf Creek Pass I have had to dodge rocks and pull over and remove rocks off the road. There have been a couple where I have had to hook up a tow strap to pull them off the road.

I'd love to but until they sort out some things at work I am kinda screwed. Changing my days off and what not. Also 3rd shift they are looking at making my job Rocky Flats clear to Grand Jct (instead of stopping at Dotsero (Eagle)), so its gonna be busy to say the least. I also get the North Fork ... which is Grand Jct to some coal mines (towards Montrose, Hodgekiss etc). In May I am looking at moving from 3rd shift to 2nd shift since my days off pretty much suck right now (Mon & Tues). When I goto 2nd shift I'll have Thur & Fri off.
