Imler Dyno Day Results

Great event guys!!! Thanks for opening your door and letting everyone smoke up the place. Best shop in town, without a doubt!!! Oo.

..

WORD... It was nice to just about everyone from the early days of Diesel Performance like Adam Sprague,Winslett,Willyslover, both Jakes,Ryan,BBD,Ray T. ,and everyone else,as well as the next generation of diesel heads i've never seen before. . it was quite a little homecoming welcome. I had a great time... too bad the dyno ran late or we could have hit the track :( :D

Cummnzpower I couldn't agree with you more. It was like old times for sure. There was only a few people missing from back in the day, but, I'm sure at least one of them was there in spirit =). It was great to see everyone again, And a big thanks to IMLER's diesel for another first class event!

Hi Ron, as for numbers, I made 722hp and 1389tq (not bad for a daily driver 24v with a single turbo =)

STOMP made one pull but broke I think he made 568hp

Ron is the idle still holding together?

Does somebody have a the results to post? Glad you guys had fun. Wish i could of been there but my girls come first (soccer). Sounds like there was a couple of good high hp runs made. See ya guys next time!... ... ... ... ..... Brad

Ditto: Man is that event getting bigger and bigger or what ? Had a great time good to see everybody again. I had to pull my contact lens on the way home last night :-laf

BBD

I went out to the track after Imlers, besides me there were only 3 other diesels that went out there and raced. I ran several 13. 9's @ 94, nothing to impressive, but I guess not bad for 352 HP.

I (we) sure did miss you bud, BUT everyone understands and respects

why we didn't see you BUT I STILL MISSED YOU AND Dana!!!!! :{ I'm gonna take momma to the shop tomorrow and hopefully get the results posted soon. Thanks again you son of a gun!! ;)

Ken and his crew are #1

I want to personally thank Ken and his crew for having this event. Both the girlfriend and I had a blast. Even though I did have my inj. pump go out on me while I was on the dyno. I did make 567hp before she quit on me which was good enough for 2nd place on diesel only. After the event was over we pushed my pickup back in the shop and Ken and his crew went to work on it. Ken had a stock rebuild that he let me borrow so I could get home. I just stood back so I didn’t get in the way. I felt bad about not really helping out, but I knew that if I got in the way it would take them longer. So I just kept the pizza and refreshments coming to keep them fueled. They didn’t even take a break to eat. Wrench in one hand and pizza in the other. They were done in no time. Fired right up and took it for a little spin and here are the results. Well I wouldn’t want to race a moped, but it got me home and that’s all that matters. I will tell you this much going from almost 700hp to maybe a little over stock will open your eyes a little. With the valet switch off I made 18#'s of boost on a hard pull and with it on I can get about 28#'s flat to the mat going up a steep grade. Even if you do push it to the mat it sure takes the 40 a while to light off and the bottom turbo is just a air restriction. Well I should be up and running at full capacity before to long. Thanks for all the help.

I would also like to thank any one and everyone that helped push my pickup off the dyno and then all of you guys that helped push it back in.

I would also like to thank everyone that offered other services like there shop/tools/trailers/extra pump/ extra rig so I could get home etc. etc. YOU GUYS ROCK. If anyone is ever in my area and needs some help let me know.

I was going to come up and introduce myself to you, but looked like you were awfully busy.

I was hanging out with Willyslover for much of the day (I got there about 330 PM)

The truck looked and sounded good until the pump let go, glad to hear you made it home safely and I will look forward to meeting you at the next event.

I believe that your pickup is red right? I saw red flash and what sounded like a very healthy 6. 9 drive out after they stopped dynoing. You should have come up it would be nice to finally put a face to your screen name.

You know we have something in common beside driving older pickups. Brad gave me one of his spare pickups to drive while mine is in the shop. Don’t know the exact year, but it’s a 6. 9 Ford 2wd called the Blue Max. Runs like a top. ;)

Yep, that was my old "fire-breathing 6. 9", I don't know how you could have heard anything over the TRAIN HORNS... .....

Don't get too used to that 6. 9 of Brad's , you may never go back to your first gen :D :D

Hopefully Blane or RPM is scheduling a dyno event in the near future, we can hook up there.

Stomp: Big Jake also owns the "5 cylinders of death and destruction" Mercedes. Sounds like a funny car when he pulls in . . yeah. . funny. . car. . :-laf :p

Sorry to have missed this one :( I was in Colorado with my dad, unsuccessfully trying to bring home some prime Elk burgers.

Greg, I haven't been around much since my motorcycle addition took over last year. Glad to see you're back from San Antonio.

I was there as well. My buddy had his Duramx and ran first, and I ran second in my white '05 CTD. It was my first time ever to dyno anything, and we had a blast. I'm not sure which of you guys I talked to, but I'm looking forward to the next one. I have been on a different dodge site for a while, but I'm fairly new to TDR. You guys seem much more knowledgable about diesels, so I've been lurking (and a couple posts here and there) more and more.

We went to the drags afterward, and ran our trucks for fun. I didn't represent very well, as my buddy beat me all but one time. I think my TC is giving out, as I'm getting too much transmission slip. Time for an upgrade before the next dyno day!

Again, we had a blast, and I hope to continue to learn from you guys.
