I just installed a set of delivery valves in my ride and it made a big difference in power. There were three different types, the hottest being a modified part. I went with the second hottest which is a new Bosch part and it added about 4 pounds of boost pressure. The truck runs noticeably stronger at all rpm's. The truck does have a large increase in low rpm smoke which clears up somewhat with boost. To all of you guys out there on the fence thinking about adding bigger delivery valves, I say go for it if you are looking for more power. Now I need to get more air through the engine. Bigger turbo and exhaust is in the future.

So where did you get the delivery valves at and do you know how much of a differnce there is between the ones you got and the modified ones.
I've been thinking about getting them, but I'm just not sure that there worth the money.

Thanks

I got them from an outfit called Enterprise Engine. I talked to Dave Mitchell and he told me that his modified valves would add about 10 pounds of boost to what I was running now with the extra fuel. He also told me that it would send my pyrometer "right on around". That set of valves are a bit too hot for my application because I use the truck as a daily driver and tow vehicle. One other thing that he did mention-You could probably control the temps by sliding the plate back if they got too hot. I went with the set right below the modified ones and the change in smoke and power is about what I got when I added the 370 injectors. Now I will need to work on getting more air through the engine.
