In my 95 2500 4x4 I put some 295 tire on it. Shes got 3. 55 gears. It seems to have messes up my transmission shift points as she no longer wants to shift out of OD on hills and just boggs down. How do I fix this and tell the computer to move the shift points? Any ideas?

Bill,

Go see the parts dept. at the Dodge dealer. Tell him you need a new speedometer pinion for your taller tires. Write down the exact numbers for the tire. Example, 285/75R16 ect.

Take out the OE one, and put the new one in. Simple job. The adapter is on the tranfer case. Just remove the bolt on the adapter clamp, and replace the OE pinion with the new one.

If you need more info I can help.
