Competition Want to be on Pinks?

Do you want the biggest or the most HP? Nitrous, meth or just #2? We have found the biggest models do not produce the most HP... ...

Doug is right. You asked I told you what Ive used, but I have made more hp with lesser injector

Once you get over 550rwhp, it turns into a setup game, and not one single performance part. I make 516HP, and I'm still using a HX-35/14 and HT3B/22!

Talk to Doug. There's more to it than just a big injector... The injectors that make 740HP in somebodies truck, may not make the same HP in yours if he has a cam, ported head, ported exhaust, straight pipe and no air filter, compared to your truck just maybe having a big charger.

Not trying to be a prick. Just trying to help out.

Merrick, you dont have to try! :D (j/k)

Really though Merrick speaks the truth. The injector that makes the most hp on the dyno might not perform the best out on the drag or pull track.

His sig doesnt make sense, I thought he had a 1ton truck? Plus I cant read the last thing in his sig, can you guys? Also I have seen guys running huge HP with the same turbo setup as him and hes claiming big HP? :-laf

Not what my Dyno graph says. It clearly shows just a tad over 1,000Lbs. Is that not half a ton?

If ya can't read the sig... That's a good thing :D Sadly,, I can :-laf

EDIT: I think 516/1020 is a pretty good number for no more smoke than a stock truck with just a COMP on 5x5...

I recently stepped back a size on injectors from Dragon Flows to Dragon JR's [4 flow] & it was a great step in the right direction. I added a Smarty to make up for the power that I thought I was giving up & It seriously feels like I gained 100hp. I have way less smoke & no smoke if I unload smarty. I am actually making power with the fuel that used to go out the tailpipe in soot. It is all about finding a way to burn the fuel that you have now & broadening your power curve. I'd say that if you step back to M4's & add a Smarty... . you'de see similar results & a better power curve with lower egts. This is just my $. 02..... take it for what its worth.

I have dynoed 623 on #2 only but with my twins it clears up pretty quick so I was thinking I might need some bigger sticks. I have not updated my sig but I also have a port and polished head intake and exhaust,F1 helix 2 cam and valve springs. I am looking for all out hp with a vp pump.

so is that the key?..... cam, head work etc... . i put down a 550. and 1k of tq, i was 25hp off of what i though it should be,

I sent in my comp in to up-date it to the drag and i am sending my sledpuller in for a pro-street... . i guess a cam will have to be next to get to the next level on #2 or is it going to help me thats much?

any input ?

I do not think the cam will help out that much. I did not have the cam or the ported head when I did 620 but I did have the hrvp44.

TJ..... Have you looked into the II. Dragon Flows? Brady can make custom injectors to whatever suits your needs. The 11 hole Dragons are rated at 250+hp.

It's true bigger injectors and injection pump = more fuel. You must make changes to make more air to use or burn the fuel you gave it. Timing is also something to deal with. I guess tunning your truck is very important, that is what I am saying. That is why we have done so much testing. We want to be able to help you in any way. Thanks

I'm not sure what size they are, but I had the 10 hole Dragon Flows & they didn't smoke at idle. They are crazy injectors & unbelievably smooth idle & the power was smooth all the way up. Brett..... You wanna help me out here!

I've been running Brady's 11 holes for a while now (as well as several of my customers). They are great for such a large injector.

They incorporate two different spray angles to acomplish a very clean burn while delivering an immense amount of fuel.
