This was my first occasion to talk to Bill. He is very knowledgable and discusses in depth to make sure you understand what he is saying and will spend the time it takes. When it comes to treating people like people and not a number, credit card or a check book DTT is added to the list of preferable people to do business with. Dealing with DTT, Fred Swanson, Geno's, Hoesli Diesel and Cummins (disregarding the 53 block issue) actually brings back the faith that there are reputable companies out there. Refer to this thread for the answer to the Smart Controller and Exhaust Brake issue I ran into.

I just wanted to show my appreciation to some of the fine companies that still exist.

Yep, the whole DTT crew are first rate. I'm aproaching 600 1/4 mile passes on mine, and that is with towing my travel trailer to many of the races. Oo. Oo. Gotta love it when you buy something and it exceeds your expectations.

When I first considered upgrading my 47re I called Bill K. who spoke to me at length about the need to alter the transmission to meet my needs. He recommended Fred Swanson at Desert Diesel Parts. Old fashioned American integrity!

Ditto - It's a shame that more companies out there aren't like Bill's. Think what the good old USA would be like if we took Bill's example. Not only a top knotch product, but customer service and knowledge to boot. Everyone I have ever had the chance to talk with @ or associated w/DTT has been down to earth, very straight and knowledgable. Love the trans and can't wait to finally add some HP/TQ to the old gal.
