Geez. Is *that* story still going? That was *me* wearing a BillK halloween mask. I'm surprised someone couldn't tell the difference.

:D :D

Please remember the question at hand was... ... ... .

Has anyone broken a billet input shaft?

I don't care whos it was or what not.

Yes I have a DTT transmission... . I let it speak for itself.

Be nice when there is a billet output shaft available... . more Preventive Maintence ;)

Just as info where he is at his cell phone may not be working. And not sure how much internet access he has.

Yea, I posted right behind Kat with my statement because I feel it is a miracle that with the abuse and little ol horsepower (according to Mr. Strickland) I have been putting to it, the shafts are still holding.

I would love a set of billet shafts. Putting in superior parts keeps breakage from happening. Knowing what you have to upgrade is key.

Well, off to Scheid's rally...

I haven't heard of anyone breaking a billet shaft and hub. But then, nobody that has an ATS transmission has enough HP to break enything. :-laf

Come on stake. . its not that we dont have the HP. Havent you heard?? Our problem is we cant get all the power to the ground thanks to the internal damage we do every time we shift. ;)

Kat, you'll like the 93 Race. If you remember, that's what is in mine when you drove it back in May.

If ATS trannies are so great, then why is it they want to buy a billet shaft and hub that DTT spent the time and money to have built?

I'm referencing Steve's comment earlier in the thread.

Think before you type.

If everbody did everything the same way the world would be a boring place. Knowledge would be stagnant, and products would never be better than they are.

Seems this topic has ran its course. Kat got his answer. Now its just a :-{}

Wow, again.

I go away for the weekend and look what happens.

John,

To be honest, I'm shocked at your reaction to my posts. What did I do that was so wrong?

Let me explain how I act on the TDR. I firmly believe we all have the right to make our own decisions and express our opinions.

You won't see me slandering someone else because they make a different purchase than I do. But when someone comes on and tells a bold face lie, you can bet I'm going to step in and straighten it out as best I can.

Like I stated earlier, I knew you wouldn't intentionally lie, so I politely asked for your source so we could trace this lie all the way back to the original liar.

But for some reason you chose to protect your 'sources' and attack me instead.

Remember these statements:

Hate to burst the bubble of all the DTT guys... ...

what point would it serve. prove me wrong... ... (my favorite)

At this point I have lost all trust in you.

Those are some pretty harsh statements towards me. I find it funny that you have renounced me as a friend and have 'lost all trust' in me after you were the one spreading lies.

I believe that if someone is willing to lie to you once, they will most likely lie to you again. So who is it that we all need to stay away from? If you keep covering for these people, the finger will eventually begin to point at you. Don't let that happen.

Stakeman,

I for one am interested in John Conley's reply as to his source, regarding my dad being an arsenist. Whether he made it up or was told it, I feel it to be sad that he finds amusement in it. Trying to wreck one's reputation by telling stories is something that most of us should have out of our systems by now. Earlier in one of his posts he refers to trusting my dad and in another breath he calls him an arsenist.

John, I have met you and don't think that you would make a story like that up, but as Strick-9 stated by not revealing your "source" it appears that you may be the one behind these stories. Remember as long-time members we are supposed to look out for the new members and if they are hearing stories like this they will form some serious opinions that may lead them to making choices that we (long-time members) wouldn't.

Stakeman I'm sure you would agree, that the truth is more important than any petty disagreements we may have.

just want to clearify something....

I was at the fairgrounds when we started to smell the fire, and will say it was not ANYBODY associated with DTT.

Andrew

Stefan,

I have no idea what you are talking about. I was not present when any story was told. I did not see where anyone was called an "arsinest". Remember that after a story is passed on by several people that the meaning gets lost along the way.

I agree that the truth is important. Who knows the truth? I can not say because I am not present at any of these events.

What disagreements have we had? This is news to me.

The point of my posts is that it seems that friendships are being broken over the smallest things. Have we as a group become so petty?
