Billett Grille

I am considering a Billett Grille for my Ram. The only concern is if it will make a difference on the cooling ability of the radiator. The Billett looks cool, but I don't want an over heat situation. I tow heavy in some pretty hot weather (105 +) at times. Has anyone had any experience in this area? Thanks for any advice you can give me. Sarge

Billet Grille

Hey Sarge, I didn't see any difference with engine cooling with my grille. In fact after I installed it I was kind of worried that the cooling system would be too open to bugs and debris, you can really see through the billet grille compared to the honeycomb. Sorry but I don't tow anything but as for normal driving the grille is fine, only bad part is get ready to spend alot more time and effort to shine her up, one billet rib at a time. Hope this helps... ...

no problem with billet grills for towing

i tow a 8k TT to the river in the summer up scirocco summit with the A/C on high and never get the needl to 3/4.

I just installed mine, it makes a very nice dress up, and I agree that it looks as if the billet grill would actually be less restrictive to air!
